Client Testimonials

“I met our case manager while driving a Lyft in front of The Just One Project picking up a senior. She was helping the client load groceries into my car. She asked me if I was in need of food or resources and I told her that my mom could use help.

Shortly after, I lost my job due to an injury and me and my mom both needed help. She has done a tremendous job assisting me and my mother. She got us both set up with SNAP and other resources.”
“I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half throughout my battle with cancer.

The Just One Project staff have been here for me. I am so blessed to have found this place. The staff makes sure that I am eating healthy and taking care of myself. I love you all!”

“I’ve been a volunteer at The Just One Project since November 2021. When we talk about God is good, it is exactly that.

There was a time when I was down on food and wasn’t sure how about another meal and I was invited to come shop in the community market. The market offered food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The different phases of The Just One Project pulled me through difficult times. I really thank you for all of your help and volunteering with such wonderful staff.”

“I begin by giving thanks to The Just One Project and all its wonder-filled staff and all the volunteers who consistently go beyond when serving and assisting me and the community. It’s always with courtesy and broad smiles.

How has the program benefited me? Since my involvement with this program, it has benefited me measurably. And not just with the wholesome, nutritional food and other essentials, but also with school items, gift cards, and clothing for my grandchildren. I was also given resources and referrals for other local agencies including SNAP, senior law, housing and rental assistance just to name a few.

So in conclusion, suffice it to say, that having found this program and friends, I not only found a home but a family as well! So as I see it, The Just One Project in my view, personifies caring and giving of itself daily. And me, I’m JUST ONE to acknowledge it”
